This is terrible.The capabilities and set of experiences offered by Teams are far more advanced than Skype for Business. Why would someone send this rubbish? I let the guard down and got exploited by some hackers now. Probably their account was hacked and somebody sent message as her. I was half asleep and just pressed this stupid link but when it did.not open I was curious as to what this contact sent me so I pasted the link. I read that clicking on suspicious links activates scripts that install malware deep in your system. I have lost contact with this person and was suprised by randomness of the message. A bit of a question, but why exactly do you believe it is a virus? The shortened link or.? Because this was very random.
When I finally woke up I realised what happened. Link which had my skype username at the end took me to some website's article about some US TV show. I clicked again and still nothing so I copied link and pasted it to the browser in private mode with active VPN. I never click on the links but because I was still half asleep and I did not speak with this contact in ages I clicked on the link but nothing happened. There was suspcisous looking link from one of my skype contacts sent at around midnight and 2 pm. I only just opened my eyes and first thing I do is to grab my android phone and check emails/messages.
